South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall men's basketball program has continued an ascent up the NCAA college basketball attendance rankings. After averaging a Prudential Center-best 8,456 fans during the 2017-18 season, Seton Hall moved up from 62nd the previous year to 54th among all 351 Div. I men's basketball programs, according to data released by the NCAA last week.
This past season's average attendance of 8,456 represents a 500-fan increase over the 2016-17 average of 7,954. It is the first time Seton Hall has averaged over 8,000 fans per game since the 2007-08 season which was the program's first at Prudential Center (8,376).Â
In 2017-18, Seton Hall eclipsed 9,000 fans seven times and 10,000 fans four times. Just in the last four seasons, Seton Hall has drawn 10 of the program's top 15 attended games since moving to Prudential Center in 2007.Â
Seton Hall hopes to continue rising up the attendance ranks in 2018-19. Season tickets for the 14 home games at Prudential Center are on sale now!
