NEW YORK - The Seton Hall men's basketball team will have six games air on broadcast network television in 2019-20, the most the program has ever received as part of its regular season package. The news comes as part of the BIG EAST Conference's full schedule release of league games and television assignments for all games.
The Pirates, a trendy preseason pick to be in the national top-15 and at or near the top of the BIG EAST standings, boast one of the nation's most dynamic student-athletes in senior Myles Powell (Trenton, N.J.) leading to the robust television exposure. Seton Hall will have its home Xavier (Feb. 1) and St. John's (Feb. 23) games on FOX and CBS, respectively, and its road St. John's (Jan. 18), Villanova (Feb. 8), Marquette (Feb. 29) and Creighton (March 7) games on FOX. The St. John's game on CBS will be Seton Hall's first appearance on CBS during the regular season since Dec. 26, 2009.
Season tickets, which offer the best value for Pirates fans, for The Hall's 13 games at Prudential Center are available online, and mini-plans will go on sale Monday, Sept. 9. The ticket office is offering two mini-plans: a three-game plan featuring the Michigan State, Maryland and Villanova games or a pick-any-six-games package.
Single-game tickets and group tickets will go on sale at a later date. Current season ticket holders will receive an email in the next couple of weeks with information regarding a single-game ticket presale.
In addition to Seton Hall's six broadcast network television games, the Pirates will have 14 games air on FS1, the primary home of BIG EAST men's basketball, as well as two games on CBS Sports Network.
