Elmore Unanimous Preseason All-BIG EAST Selection

NEW YORK – Seton Hall senior Desiree Elmore (Hartford, Conn.) was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team on Thursday during the conference's annual media day.

Elmore improved off her stellar sophomore season, playing in all 31 games during the 2019-20 season and averaging 13.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest. Named BIG EAST Player of the Week on Nov. 11, she reached double-figures in scoring in a team-high 24 games and led the Pirates in scoring 10 times. A Preseason All-BIG EAST Team selection, Elmore had a team-best six double-doubles last season and erupted for a career-high 26 points to go with 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in Seton Hall's 83-80 BIG EAST Championship semifinal loss to No. 18 DePaul.

It's the second straight season that Elmore has been selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
