5/15/2020 9:00:00 AM | Men's Swimming and Diving
Since this would have been Seton Hall's graduation month, we will highlight our seniors as part of our "May Senior Spotlight Series." Powered by Under Armour, we engaged select seniors with a little question and answer session about their time at The Hall.   Â
TYLER KAUTH
MEN'S SWIMMING
Tyler Kauth (Wall, N.J.) enjoyed a highly successful career for the men's swimming & diving team and was a part of back-to-back BIG EAST Championship teams in 2017 and 2018, helping the Pirates immensely by scoring a lot of points in relay races. As a freshman in 2017, he and his teammates captured the 800 freestyle relay, the first event of the championship, by six seconds to set the tone for what ended up being a nearly 200-point championship victory. One year later, Kauth and his relay mates again took the 800 title. In total, Kauth was named All-BIG EAST seven times, including one individual performance in the 200 backstroke. His times in the 200 freestyle relay and 800 freestyle relay are still Seton Hall records, and his 200 backstroke time is second-best in program history.Â
Â
Kauth is a three-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic team.
