CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Seton Hall men's golf team will wrap up the fall season with three rounds of golf at the 2021 Daniel Island Intercollegiate at the Daniel Island Club Ralston Creek Course, October 31-Nov 1.

As one of the top private golf clubs in Charleston, SC, the Daniel Island Club features the country's only private pairing of golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Rees Jones playing out of the same clubhouse. Both nationally ranked courses are perfectly integrated into the breathtaking Low Country landscape and the country club neighborhood of Daniel Island Park.

Against a stunning backdrop of natural saltwater marsh and tidal creek vistas, acclaimed golf course architect Rees Jones has designed a true low country classic. Ralston Creek, Daniel Island's second 18-hole masterpiece, is a par 72 course playing 7,446 yards from the championship tees.
The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Charleston Southern, the large field will include 17 other teams including Campbell, College of Charleston, Eastern Kentucky, Florida State, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Jacksonville State, Lehigh, Presbyterian, Purdue Fort Wayne, South Carolina, USC Aiken, USC Upstate, VCU, Virginia, Western Carolina and Winthrop.

Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

Last Time Out:
Senior Deven Ramachandran (San Rafael, Calif.) fired a 1-under-par, 70, in the final round to fuel the Pirates to an eighth-place finish at the Georgetown Intercollegiate on Oct. 11. Ramachandran had three birdies and an eagle on the par-4, No. 6 hole to power his stellar round. For the tournament, he tied for 26th place with a 5-over-par, 78-70-70-218.

As a team, The Hall shot its second consecutive 1-over-par, 285, in round three. The Pirates finished in eighth place with an 11-over-par, 293-285-285-863. It's the sixth-lowest three-round, par-71 score in program history. Loyola ran away with the team title at 18-under-par, 19 strokes ahead of second-place Navy. Host Georgetown finished four strokes ahead of the Pirates in fourth place at 7-over-par.

Graduate student Gregor Tait (Martlesham Heath, England) was the top Pirate for the three-round event. He used three birdies and 12 pars to fuel an even-par, 71, in round three. For the tournament, Tait tied for 10th among 65 individual golfers with an impressive 2-under-par, 72-68-71-211. It's his fifth career sub-par tournament and seventh top-10 finish.

The field will play two continuous rounds (36 holes) beginning with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday, and one final round on Monday.
