
Waggoner Shatters 400 IM Record at Patriot

Fairfax, Va. – After a record-setting night on day one, the Pirates got another record-setting performance on day two. Freshman Allie Waggoner, broke the 400 IM program record with a time of 4:22.22 and second-place finish. The previous record-holder, Jane Ehret, swam a time of 4:23.41 in 2011.
In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of Madeline Field (Wheaton, Ill.), Lauren Schofield, Sierra Cripps (Seymour, Conn.) and Cornelia Jerresand (Taeby, Sweden) combined to touch the wall in a time of 1:46.16 and a sixth-place finish. After setting the program record as part of the 200 Free Relay team on Friday, Natalie Heim (Middletown, N.J.) responded with a solid showing in the 200 Free with a fifth-place finish and time of 1:51.46.
