NEW YORK – For the third straight week, Seton Hall junior Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Â
Park-Lane continued her masterful junior campaign last week during the Pirates' victory at Princeton. The Pirate point guard erupted for 20 points on an efficient 7-for-11 shooting and matched her season-high with nine assists. She also had four steals and was 5-for-6 from the free-throw line.
Â
Park-Lane has now scored in double-figures in 16 straight games dating back to last season and had five games of 20 or more points in eight contests this year. She has also dished out at least seven assists in five of the last six games.
Â
Villanova's Maddy Siegrist was named BIG EAST Player of the Week. DePaul's Aneesah Morrow was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. In addition to Park-Lane, members of the Weekly Honor Roll include Creighton's Carly Bachelor, Georgetown's Milan Bolden-Morris, Marquette's Lauren Van Kleunen and Providence's Janai Crooms.
Â
Seton Hall will return to action on Tuesday, December 14 when it hosts Central Florida at newly-renovated Walsh Gymnasium. Tip time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live by the Pirate Sports Network for FloSports subscribers.
