Park-Lane Nets BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Again

The Pirate point guard reached 20 points twice last weekend.
NEW YORK – For the second straight week, Seton Hall junior Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Despite a pair of setbacks, Park-Lane was again the dominant force for the Pirates last weekend, both scoring and distributing the ball to her teammates. On Friday against No. 2 Connecticut, she erupted for a team-high 23 points to go with five assists and four rebounds. On Sunday at St. John's, Park-Lane had a team-best 23 points, a game-high seven assists and only one turnover.
Park-Lane has now scored in double-figures in 15 straight games dating back to last season and leads the Pirates with a 19.7 scoring average. She has dished out at least seven assists in four of the last five games.
Connecticut's Paige Bueckers was named BIG EAST Player of the Week. The Blue Demons' Aneesah Morrow was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. In addition to Park-Lane, members of the Weekly Honor Roll include DePaul's Deja Church, Marquette's Karissa McLaughlin, Providence's Alyssa Geary and St. John's Kadajah Bailey.
Seton Hall will return to action on Saturday, December 11 when it travels to Princeton. Tip time is scheduled for Noon ET. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
