- The Seton Hall men's basketball team returns to action after a week off on Saturday as the Pirates travel across the Hudson River to take on St. John's inside Madison Square Garden for a noon tip on FS1.
- Seton Hall is 17-12 at Madison Square Garden under Kevin Willard and 15-8 since 2013-14.
- Seton Hall's four losses in conference play have come by a combined 16 points and its average margin of defeat is four points.
- The Pirates have lost five games this season by a combined 19 points.

- Graduate student Bryce Aiken (Randolph, N.J.) has been a force in closing out games this season with 72 total points in the final five minutes of regulation and overtime through 15 games played (4.8 ppg).
- Graduate student Alexis Yetna (Paris, France) is averaging a double-double in BIG EAST play with 11.2 points and 10 rebounds per game.
- Senior guard Jared Rhoden (Baldwin, N.Y.) now has scored in double figures in 14 of 15 games played and ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in scoring (16.6 ppg).
