South Orange, N.J. — Registration is now open for Shaheen Holloway Basketball Camps that will take place this summer inside Historic Walsh Gymnasium on the campus of Seton Hall University.
Session I for ages 6-13 will run from June 27-July 1. Sessions II and III will run from July 11-15 and July 18-22, respectively, for ages 6-11. For more information and to register, go to shaheenhollowaybasketball.totalcamps.com.
Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Shaheen Holloway Basketball Camps are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, and/or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
A former associate head coach and standout student-athlete at Seton Hall, Holloway was named the new head men's basketball coach at his alma mater on March 30.
Holloway returns to South Orange after leading Saint Peter's on a miraculous run to the Elite Eight at this year's NCAA Tournament. The 2020 MAAC Coach of the Year, Holloway led the Peacocks to the 2022 MAAC Tournament title and three straight campaigns with 10-plus victories in conference play.
Holloway's teams in Jersey City played with a toughness and intensity that mirrored the way he played the game at The Hall, where he holds the program record with 681 career assists and was inducted into the Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012. He becomes the first Seton Hall graduate to lead the men's basketball program since all-time great Richie Regan '53 led the Pirates from 1960-70.
