Samuel Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

South Orange, N.J. - Senior Tyrese Samuel (Montreal, Quebec) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 15.5 points and seven rebounds in two games last week for the Seton Hall men's basketball team.
Samuel posted a double-double in the win over Georgetown on Tuesday with 15 points and 10 rebounds, giving him four on the season. He then tied for the team high with 16 points at No. 20 UConn on Saturday. Samuel shot 58 percent (11-of-19) from the field over the two games and shot 75 percent (9-of-12) from the free throw line.
