Dawes Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

South Orange, N.J. -- Senior Al-Amir Dawes (Newark, N.J.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season after averaging 16.5 points, four rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Seton Hall men's basketball team.
At St. John's on Wednesday, Dawes helped spark The Hall's comeback in the second half where he scored 18 of his game-high 21 points. He chipped in with 12 points, four rebounds, three dimes and a career-high five steals in the Pirates' 69-64 win over DePaul on Sunday.
The Pirates return to action on Wednesday as Seton Hall takes on No. 23 Creighton at 6:30 p.m. at Prudential Center. Tickets can be purchased here.
