SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall women's basketball head coach Anthony Bozzella announced today that Ja'Kahla Craft (Elk River, Minn.) has officially signed a national letter of intent to attend the University and play for the program beginning this fall.Â
Â
Craft is a true freshman and will have four years of NCAA eligibility beginning this fall.
Â
"We are blessed to have Ja'Kahla and her family be a part of our Seton Hall women's basketball family," Bozzella said. "We targeted Ja'Kahla early in the recruiting process last year as someone who could come in and make an immediate contribution at the combo guard position. We can't wait to get her here!"
Â
A 5-foot-9 guard, Craft became a star at St. Michael-Albertville High School, culminating with Adidas All-America status as a senior. A three-time All-Conference selection, she helped lift her team to the Minnesota State Championship in 2023 and top-3 finishes in 2022 and 2024. A 2024 All-State selection, Craft averaged an astonishing 26.8 points per game in her final year.Â
Â
Named to the Minnesota All-Star Game in 2024, which she scored 36 points, she led her team to a remarkable 76-20 record over her final three seasons. Craft is a three-time All-State Tournament selection.
