
Pirates Place Three in Top-12 to Finish Second at Osprey Open

Galloway, N.J. - Junior Stephen Beaman (Johnston, Iowa) was the Seton Hall men's cross country top finisher for the second time in three races to headline the Pirates' second-place finish at the 8K Osprey Open at Stockton University Saturday morning.
Beaman crossed the finish line in 25:15.86 to place sixth in the race, his second top-10 finish of the season.
Also finishing in the top-12 were junior Logan Brunozzi (Churchville, Pa.), who was 11th with a time of 25:43.16, and sophomore Joseph Butler (Mechanicsburg, Pa.), who clocked in right behind Brunozzi with a time of 25:52.32.
Freshman Aakash Arumugam (Rockland, Calif.) scored for the second straight week, finishing 21st with a time of 26:13.22.
The Pirates are headed south next weekend to compete in the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla.
