
Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule

South Orange, N.J. — Seton Hall men's basketball has announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season which features a BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle contest against Oklahoma State at Prudential Center on Dec. 8 and games against some of the top programs in the Metropolitan Area.
The 20-game BIG EAST Conference schedule, which will include 10 home dates in Newark, as well as final game times and television assignments will be announced at a later date.
Led by 2024 Peter A. Carlesimo Metropolitan Coach of the Year Shaheen Holloway, the Pirates are looking to build upon last year's NIT Championship triumph and make a BIG EAST Championship run and a return to March Madness.
The Pirates will open with Saint Peter's at Prudential Center on Monday, Nov. 4, before taking on Fordham for the first time since the 2001-02 season on Saturday, Nov. 9, inside historic Walsh Gymnasium. Seton Hall will then battle Hofstra in a neutral site contest at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Under fourth-year head coach Speedy Claxton, the Pride went 20-13 overall and 12-6 in the CAA last season.
Defending MAAC champion Wagner, led by former Seton Hall standout Donald Copeland, will be the visitors on Saturday, Nov. 16 when the Pirates host the Seahawks in Walsh Gym. The Pirates will challenge themselves once again at a November multi-team event when they return to the Charleston Classic, Nov. 21-22, 24. The Hall, which last played in Charleston in 2015, will open with VCU on Nov. 21 and will face either Vanderbilt or Nevada, the latter being an NCAA Tournament team last season, on Nov. 22.
The Pirates will return to Newark for their next three games against Monmouth (Nov. 30), NJIT (Dec. 4), led by Hall alum Grant Billmeier, and Oklahoma State (Dec. 8). The Pirates' final non-conference game of the season will be the Garden State Hardwood Classic against Rutgers on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Jersey Mike's Arena in Piscataway.
Season tickets for the 2024-25 Seton Hall men's basketball campaign at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., are on sale now exclusively through the Seton Hall Athletics ticket office. Season tickets start at just $221 per seat plus a $60 per seat Priority Seat Premium donation to the Pirate Blue Athletic fund, and they give Pirates fans access to all the best games, including the UConn, Villanova and St. John's games, before anyone else.
For the two home games inside Walsh Gymnasium, Nov. 9 vs. Fordham and Nov. 16 vs. Wagner, season ticket holders will have priority access to purchasing tickets before the general public and will be notified of the opportunity at a later date. Single game tickets for games at Prudential Center will go on sale in October through Ticketmaster on a date to be determined.
