DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. - The Seton Hall men's golf team will return to tournament action for three rounds of golf at The Bryson Invitational, Oct. 13-15, at Daniel Island Golf Club.

THE COURSE:
As one of the top private golf clubs in Charleston, SC, the Daniel Island Club features the country's only private pairing of golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Rees Jones playing out of the same clubhouse. Both nationally ranked courses are perfectly integrated into the breathtaking Lowcountry landscape and the country club neighborhood of Daniel Island Park.

Against a stunning backdrop of natural saltwater marsh and tidal creek vistas, acclaimed golf course architect Rees Jones has designed a true low country classic. Ralston Creek, Daniel Island's second 18-hole masterpiece, is a par 72 course playing 7,446 yards from the championship tees.

THE FIELD:
In addition to Seton Hall, the field includes 14 schools:Â Brigham Young, Charlotte, Cincinnati, College of Charleston, Duke, Houston, Liberty, Kansas, South Carolina, TCU, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Wisconsin and Wofford.

THE FORMAT:
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

THE LINEUP:
Here's the season-opening lineup for the Pirates…
Freshman Jace Hulett (Boerne, Texas) fired a 2-under-par, 70, on Sept. 30 to win the title of the Shepherd's Rock Individual by two strokes. In the team event, the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, sophomore Will Hennessee (Tulsa, Okla.) shot a 4-under-par, 68, to lift the Seton Hall men's golf team to a third-place finish.

Hulett, playing in only his second collegiate event, had three birdies and an eagle on the par-4, No. 7, hole to win the event over 29 other individual golfers. For the three-round tournament, he was 8-under-par with a 73-65-70-208. His 208 is tied for the ninth-lowest par-72, three-round effort in Seton Hall history.

In the team event, the Pirates turned in their third-consecutive sub-par round on Tuesday, firing a 2-under-par, 286. The Hall finished the tournament in third place with a 17-under-par, 282-279-286-847. Host West Virginia won the team event at 36-under-par. Western Carolina finished second, just one stroke ahead of the Pirates.

THE SCHEDULE:
The teams will play 18 holes per day, Monday through Wednesday. Seton Hall will be paired with golfers from Wofford and Cincinnati in round one with Bosworth teeing off first at 9:30 a.m.
