
Jordana Codio Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Jordana Codio (Winter Garden, Fla.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Codio made an immediate impression in her Seton Hall debut on Tuesday. The University of Texas transfer erupted for a career-high 20 points in only 16 minutes played in the Pirates' 88-39 victory over Saint Peter's. She was 7-for-13 for the game, including 2-for-5 from three-point range. She also pulled down three rebounds.

Connecticut's Sarah Strong was named BIG EAST Player of the Week, while DePaul's Ally Timm earned Freshman of the Week honors. Those joining Codio on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll include: Georgetown's Khia Miller, Marquette's Skylar Forbes, Connecticut's Azzi Fudd and Villanova's Jasmine Bascoe.

Seton Hall will return to action on Friday, Nov. 14 when it heads to San Francisco to take on the Dons. Tip time is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live by ESPN+.
