The Pirates were just 2-for-16 from the field in the fourth quarter, putting them at 4-for-30 over the last two fourth quarters when including the NC State game on Sunday. Seton Hall suffered its third loss in four games over the last eight days.

THE STORY:
Columbia scored the first bucket of the evening, but the Pirates responded with an 13-2 run, highlighted by a fast-break three-pointer by Eads. A reverse-layup by Messiah Hunter (Hopewell, Va.) with 2:46 left in the first quarter gave The Hall a 17-6 lead, but the Lions closed out the quarter with a 10-0 run to close their deficit to only one point after 10 minutes.

The Lions, however, stuck around and methodically cut into the Pirates' lead with a 12-5 run that cut The Hall's lead to just two at the end of three quarters.
In the fourth, a jumper by Valenzuela extended The Hall's lead to 51-48 with 5:40 remaining. Columbia cut their lead again to one point, but a pair of made free-throws by Catalon with 1:39 left again extended the Pirates' advantage to three. On the next trip down the floor another Lions' layup again cut their deficit to one setting up Page's dramatics on the final possession.
