
Pirates Add Penn State Transfer Cam Rust

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall women's basketball head coach Anthony Bozzella announced today the addition of Penn State transfer Cam Rust (Wakefield, R.I.) to the program.Â

Rust joins the Pirates after spending her first collegiate year as a member of the Penn State University basketball program. She will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

As a freshman at Penn State, Rust appeared in 19 games averaging 1.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in nearly five minutes per contest. The 6-foot-1 forward had a double-double in only her second collegiate game with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Canisius on Nov. 7.

In high school, Rust was a star for four years at Worcester Academy, averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds per game. A top-100 rated player by several agencies including ESPN's Watch List, she had a four-star ranking from Prospects Nation and a 90-Grade according to ESPN.
