Milewski's 6-RBI Weekend Lands Him on BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Seton Hall catcher Kevin Milewski was named to the BIG EAST baseball honor roll Monday after going 6-for-13 at the plate with two home runs, 6 RBI and seven runs scored, the league office announced Monday.
Milewski helped the Pirates defeat Xavier last Friday with a two-home run game. He blasted a solo shot in the third inning to put the Pirates up 4-0. Then in the ninth inning with the game tied at 8-8 and the bases loaded, he smacked a 1-0 breaking ball over the left center fence for a go-ahead grand slam, leading to a 12-8 Seton Hall victory.
In total, Milewski reached base safely nine times in the four games last week and scored seven times.
Milewski is enjoying a breakout sophomore season, currently hitting .319 with 13 home runs, 49 RBI, 38 runs scored and an OPS of 1.052.
Milewski and the Pirates will host Georgetown this weekend at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium.
