Jordana Codio Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Jordana Codio (Winter Garden, Fla.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

It's the second time this season that Codio has received the weekly conference distinction.

Codio came through when the Pirates needed them most in their lone game last week. Struggling offensively, The Hall received a game-high 17 points from Codio to go with a career-high four steals and three rebounds to spearhead a 10-point, come-from-behind victory at Providence on Thursday.

Connecticut's Sarah Strong was named BIG EAST Player of the Week, while teammate Bianca Quinonez earned Freshman of the Week honors. Those joining Codio on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll include: Creighton's Ava Zediker, DePaul's Kate Novik, Marquette's Olivia Porter and Villanova's Jasmine Bascoe.

Seton Hall will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 14 when it hosts BIG EAST rival Marquette in historic Walsh Gymnasium. Tip time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live by ESPN+.
