
Aguilar, Ekman Lead Pirates to Finish at Banister Classic

GLENCOE, ALA. – Marta Aguilar (Casares Malaga, Spain) had a 4-over-par, 76, and Anne-Sofie Ekman (Copenhagen, Denmark) carded a 5-over-par, 77, to fuel the Seton Hall women's golf team to the finish at the 2026 Chris Banister Classic on Tuesday.

Aguilar had a birdie and 13 pars to power her team-best third round. She was the top Seton Hall finisher for the tournament, tying for 20th overall with a 13-over-par, 74-79-76-229. Ekman had four birdies on Tuesday in route to her top round of the spring, a 5-over-par, 77. For the three-day event, she shot a 36-over-par, 88-87-77-252.

Collectively, The Hall shaved off 15 strokes from its second-round score to finish with a 26-over-par, 314, in round three. For the tournament, the Pirates finished 13th with an 86-over-par, 307-329-314-950. Tennessee won the team title by a staggering 35 strokes at 5-over-par.Â

Junior Renee Rane (New Delhi, India) had 14 pars in round three to fuel a 7-over-par, 79. For the tournament, she tied for 43rd place with a 22-over-par, 79-80-79-238.

Freshman Isabella Stewart (Wicklow, Ireland) shot a 10-over-par, 82, in round three. For the tournament, she tied for 48th place with a 23-over-par, 74-83-82-239.

Junior Kasumi Tran (Swansea, Wales) carded a 12-over-par, 84, in the final round. She competed her tournament with a 36-over-par, 80-86-84-252.
