Azevedo's PK Nets BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Spot

NEW YORK – Senior midfielder Brianna Azevedo (Oradell, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Azevedo scored the deciding goal on a penalty kick in the 90th minute of Sunday's 1-0 win over Drexel. The senior was tackled just at the edge of the penalty area, and after video review the Pirates were awarded a PK in the match's waning moments. Azevedo stepped up to the spot to bury her first career goal, delivering Seton Hall a 2-0 start for a second straight season.
Azevedo and the Pirates hit the road for the first time this season on Thursday when they face Iona at 1 p.m.
