Former WNBA player and All-America performer Danaejah Grant joined the coaching staff at Seton Hall for the 2018-19 season.Â
In her role as the coordinator of basketball operations at The Hall, Grant will assist in practice planning, travel and meal arrangements and video exchange.Â
Grant comes to South Orange after a professional basketball career that saw her drafted by the WNBA's Washington Mystics in the third round of the 2016 WNBA Draft. After her time in Washington, Grant made overseas stops in Turkey, Austria, Israel and Puerto Rico.
A native of Piscataway, N.J., Grant starred for three years in the BIG EAST at St. John's where she scored nearly 1,500 points and was a two-time All-BIG EAST selection. Following her senior season in 2015-16 Grant was named a WBCA Honorable Mention All-American. She graduated from St. John's in 2016 with a degree in criminal justice and is currently pursuing a master's in business administration at The Hall.Â
