Nick DiPillo joined the Seton Hall staff as the Director of Player Development for the women's basketball program prior to the 2014-15 season. He was elevated to assistant coach for the 2017-18 season.Â
In his role as an assistant coach, DiPillo works primarily with the post players as well as playing a heavy role in game scouting, installation and execution of The Hall's offense.Â
Prior to joining The Hall, DiPillo spent four years on the sidelines as an assistant coach with the WNBA's New York Liberty from 2005-09. He also was an assistant coach for the men's basketball team at Kean University from 2003-05, helping the team post a 34-19 overall record over a two-year stretch.
During the 2004 WNBA season DiPillo gained his first professional experience, working as an advanced scout for the Liberty, with the team posting an 18-16 record that year while qualifying for the postseason.
DiPillo was a member of the men's basketball team at Fairleigh Dickinson, graduating in 2003 with a degree in Sociology. He is the proud father to Madelyn, aged 10.Â
