2016-17: Totaled 29 appearances and seven starts as a rookie…averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game…ranked among the BIG EAST leaders and set a SHU freshman record with 40 blocked shots…shot 51.3 percent from the floor on the year…blocked multiple shots in a game on 11 occasions…scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds in a win at Marist (Nov. 15)…flirted with a double-double by scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds along with three blocks in a win over Xavier (Jan. 27)…scored a career-high 13 points in the BIG EAST Tournament Quarterfinals against DePaul (March 5).
Before SHU: Starred for St. Anthony’s at the high school level…led St. Anthony’s to a 24-4 record and the CHSAA Class AA state title as a senior…named the CHSAA Player of the Year as a senior…NYSSWA Second Team All-State for Class AA…Newsday and MSG Varsity All-Long Island...averaged 12.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game as a senior…ranked a three-star prospect with an overall grade of 90 by ESPN...Born February 19, 1998.
