Seve Hirst joined the Pirate staff as an assistant coach in August 2022. Along with coaching for the Pirates, Hirst is also a head coach at a Girls Academy, USYS National League and EDP. Hirst has also been a volunteer assistant coach for Fairleigh Dickinson’s men’s soccer and both Northeastern and Holy Cross women’s soccer. While at Northeastern, Hirst helped lead the Huskies to the 2017 CAA Tournament finals and the 2016 CAA regular season and tournament championships. With Hirst on staff, Holy Cross went 10-5-3 in 2014, the most wins for the program in 20 years. Â
Hirst’s certifications include The Football Association Levels One and Two, United Soccer Coaches National Diploma, Premier Diploma, and Advanced National Diploma; US Soccer Federation ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’, and ‘F’ License. Â
Hirst has a bachelor’s degree in Coaching & Sport Performance from St. Martin’s College in 2007, as well as a BTEC National Diploma in Sport from Blackpool & The Fylde College 2004.Â
