Angela Williams can be credited with being one of the first Seton Hall women’s track stars that vaulted the program to national prominence in the 1980s. She was the first female All-American at Seton Hall, earning the honor with a fourth-place finish in the 200 meters at the 1988 Indoor Track & Field Championship. She finished fifth in the 100 meters in the NCAA Outdoor Championship for her second All-America distinction. Williams is the school record-holder in the outdoor 100 meters (11.22) and in the indoor 300 meters (52.11), as well as a member of the record-holding indoor sprint medley relay team. Williams was also a four-time BIG EAST Champion. She competed in the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics for her native Trinidad.
