
Golf Participates in First Tee Program at ECCC

The First Tee program featured nine holes of golf with members of the Seton Hall men’s golf team and participation in a clinic that included several learning stations. Pirates head coach Clay White roamed throughout the stations talking to kids about the importance of college.
The First Tee, an initiative of the World Golf Foundation, has as its mission: To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. Their goal is to provide the golf learning facilities and the experience that will enable kids from every walk of life to partake of a game that teaches values for life and which can be played for a lifetime.
ECCC hosts several Seton Hall practices and has been a close partner with the men’s golf program for several years. In addition to being one of the premier golf courses in the Tri-State area, ECCC is rich in tradition and history.
