
Bosworth Leads Pirates to Finish at Loyola Intercollegiate

GOODYEAR, ARIZ. – Senior Jack Bosworth (Daniel Island, S.C.) matched his career-best round with a 5-under-par, 67, in round three to lift the Seton Hall men's golf team to a eighth-place finish at the 2026 Loyola Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

Bosworth was brilliant in round three, using four birdies and an eagle on the par-5, No. 2 hole to power his monster round. For the tournament, he tied for 63rd place with a 2-over-par, 75-76-67-218.Â

As a team, The Hall shot it's third sub-par round of the tournament, again finishing with a 4-under-par, 284. It finished in a tie for eighth place with Northern Colorado at 10-under-par for the tournament. For the three-round event, the Pirates shot a 286-284-284-854. It's Seton Hall's fourth sub-par tournament in six events so far during the 2025-26 year, and the 25th sub-par tournament in program history.

Sophomore Will Hennessee (Tulsa, Okla.) was the top Seton Hall golfer for the tournament. On Tuesday, he had three birdies and also eagled the par-5, No. 2 hole in route to a 1-over-par, 73. For the 54-hole event, he tied for 30th place among 119 golfers with a 2-under-par, 71-70-73-214. It's Hennessee's fourth career sub-par tournament.

Richmond's Carson Baez won the individual title at 17-under-par.

Both graduate student George Fricker (Woodbridge, England) and senior David Lally (Wicklow, Ireland) also finished with sub-par tournaments and tied for 38th place overall just one stroke behind Hennessee. Fricker had three birdies and 12 pars to fuel an even-par, 72, in round three. For the tournament, Fricker was 1-under-par with a 74-69-72-215. Lally had two birdies and 14 pars for an even-par, 72, on Tuesday. He shot a 1-under-par, 70-73-72-215, for the spring-opening event.

Junior Eli Shah (Newtown Square, Pa.) closed out the Pirates lineup with a 2-over-par, 74, on Tuesday. For the tournament, he was 1-over-par with a 71-72-74-217.

Both of Seton Hall's two freshmen competing as individuals carded sub-par rounds on Tuesday. Jace Hulett (Boerne, Texas) had four birdies and 13 pars for a strong 3-under-par, 69. His effort rocketed him up the final leaderboard to tie Fricker and Lally for 38th place with a 1-under-par, 73-73-69-215.Â

Blake Goodnight (Dallas, Texas) had five birdies in route to a 1-under-par, 71, in round three. For the tournament, he placed 49th with an even-par, 71-74-71-216.
