Clarke helped pace the Pirates' offense in their tournament opening match on Friday afternoon against La Salle University, assisting both of Seton Hall's goals.
Her first assist against the Explorers came as she started a play in the second minute that resulted in a Stephanie Soma (Franklin, Mass.) header just 78 seconds into the action.
In the second half she notched her team-leading fifth assist of the season, recording the helper on junior Marie Klemme's (Berlin, Germany) score in the 75th minute.
Clarke leads Seton Hall in scoring with a pair of goals and five assists for nine points so far in 2012. Her five assists this season already rank sixth in Seton Hall's single-season record book and her career total of nine is seventh in SHU history.
Ruhe started in the midfield in both games of the tournament, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss to William & Mary on Sunday afternoon.
She finished the William & Mary match with two shots, one on goal. After falling behind 1-0 in the first half the Pirates controlled the pace of play, especially in the second half when they outshot the Tribe by a 7-3 margin, but they were never able to find the game-tying score.
Seton Hall (5-3) has completed its non-conference schedule and opens BIG EAST competition this Friday, Sept. 14, when it heads to Washington, D.C., to take on Georgetown University at 3 p.m.
The Pirates return home on Sunday, Sept. 16, when they host their Lace Up For Pediatric Cancer event against Villanova University at Owen T. Carroll Field at 1 p.m.
