RIVER HILLS, WIS. – Sophomore Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) is 1-under-par through two rounds of the 2016 Marquette Intercollegiate and has led the Seton Hall men's golf team to a ninth place standing.

Nagai followed up a first round 69 with an even-par, 70, in round two and is currently tied for third place among 66 individual golfers. Nagai trails UCLA Tyler Collier by two strokes for the individual lead with 18 holes left to play.

Collectively, the Pirates were consistent on Sunday. Despite the unseasonably cool temperatures and rain, Seton Hall shot a 14-over-par, 294, in round one, and was one stroke better in round two. The Hall enters Monday's final round at 27-over-par with a 293-294-587. Northwestern is currently the team leader at even-par.

Junior transfer Linus Yip (Sydney, Australia) fired a pair of 2-over-par, 72's, on Sunday. The Pirate newcomer capped his 36-hole day with an eagle on his final hole. Through two rounds, Yip is tied for 24^th place with a 4-over-par, 72-72-144.

Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) shaved five strokes off his first round score with a 1-over-par, 73, in round two. For the tournament, the sophomore is 11-over-par with a 78-73-151.

Freshman Alex Chalk (Castle Douglas, Scotland) is currently 14-over-par with a 75-79-154, while teammate Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.) rounded out the Pirates' team scoring and is 20-over-par with an 82-78-160.

Making his collegiate debut, freshman Alex McAuley (Douglas, Isle of Man) is participating as an individual. He is currently 16-over-par with a consistent 78-78-156.

The Course:
Milwaukee Country Club was formed in 1894 and the original course opened in 1896. In 1911, the club moved to its present site in River Hills. In 1929, the existing course, designed by Harry Colt and Charles Alison, opened. In 1974, Robert Trent Jones Sr. served as a consultant for minor revisions to the course.

The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Marquette, the small, but very talented field is comprised of eight other teams including: Liberty, Mississippi, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Southern Methodist, UCLA, Valparaiso and Wisconsin. Individuals from Marquette and Wisconsin will comprise a "B" team for their respective institutions as well.

Tee Times:
The field will play two rounds (36 holes) with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday. On Monday, a single final round will be played with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m. through 9:30 a.m.
