SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Seton Hall women's basketball team (17-7, 7-6 BIG EAST) concludes a three-game home-stand on Sunday afternoon with a crucial BIG EAST contest against second-place Villanova (16-9, 9-5 BIG EAST). The Pirates will go for a season split against the Wildcats at 2 p.m. in a contest streamed on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO app.
ALL-TIME WITH THE WILDCATS
The Pirates are 21-37 all-time against Villanova, with a 3-2 record against the Wildcats under Anthony Bozzella
• The Hall dropped a 55-45 contest at The Pavilion in Villanova earlier this seaosn, marking SHU's worst offensive output this season
• Tabatha Richardson-Smith (Bay City, Texas) managed a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds in the setback
• The Pirates swept the Wildcats last season, including a 64-62 victory in South Orange
• The Hall is 8-18 at home in the history of its all-time sereis against Villanova

• The Pirates led by two after a quarter and erased a six-point halftime deficit but ultimately were felled by a 13-0 run for the Hoyas to open the fourth quarter
• With the loss, GU earned a season split against the Pirates and defeated The Hall for the first time under Anthony Bozzella
• Aleesha Powell (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored a career-high 28 points in the setback, including six 3-pointers
• Jordan Molyneaux (Denver, Colo.) had her first career double-figure scoring game with a career-high 10 points
• The Pirate bench out-scored the Hoya reserves 25-15, but The Hall was out-rebounded 46-32

• VU tops the BIG EAST in scoring defense at 57.7 points allowed per game
