The Hall Visits Butler Friday Night On FS2

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The Seton Hall women's basketball begins a two-game road swing, its final conference road trip, on Friday night against Butler at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Pirates (18-7, 8-6 BIG EAST) will be looking for a season sweep of the Bulldogs (8-17, 3-11 BIG EAST) after a 21-point victory in South Orange on Jan. 24. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in a nationally televised contest on FS2 with Lisa Byington and LaChina Robinson on the call.
ALL-TIME WITH THE BULLDOGS
The Pirates are 3-2 all-time against Butler, with each meeting coming in the last three seasons since the Bulldogs joined the BIG EAST
The Hall won a 98-77 decision earlier this season against the Bulldogs on Jan. 24 at Walsh Gym
In that meeting, Tabatha Richardson-Smith (Bay City, Texas) scored 26 points with 11 rebounds and five assists in a dominant all-around effort
Aleesha Powell (Philadelphia, Pa.) added 23 points, including a career-high six 3-pointers, while Tiffany Jones (New York, N.Y.) finished just shy of a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds
The Pirates have won their last three meetings against BU after sweeping the regular season series last year
In SHU's last visit to Hinkle Fieldhouse, the Pirates clinched the BIG EAST regular season title with an epic comeback - erasing a nine-point deficit in the final minute and out-scoring BU 18-0 over the last 60 seconds of an 85-76 victory

The Pirates led by eight at halftime against the Wildcats, before VU battled back to take a two-point lead early in the fourth quarter
The Hall answered by reeling off an 8-0 run, pulling ahead for good midway through the final frame
Richardson-Smith led all scorers with 27 points and added nine rebounds - becoming Seton Hall's all-time leading scorer with a put-back in the fourth quarter
Powell added 16 points and grabbed a career-high eight rebounds
