LAS VEGAS, NEV. - The Seton Hall women' golf team will return to the links this weekend for three rounds at the 2017 Jackrabbit Invitational, March 10-11, at Siena Golf Club.
Â
Tournament Details:
JACKRABBIT INVITATIONAL
Host:Â South Dakota State University
Location:Â Las Vegas, Nevada
Course:Â Siena Golf Club
Course Vitals:Â Par-72, 6,146 yards
Dates:Â March 10-11, 2017, Three Rounds
Â
The Course:
At Siena, the variety in the routing and pacing of holes will keep all levels of golfers entertained from opening tee shot to final tap-in. Siena features an ideal blend of doglegs and straightaway holes, a mix of slender and ample fairways, a balance between benign and rugged green complexes. Yet without exception, the course offers a host of shot-making options and plenty of grassy bail-out areas when the occasional shot gets away.
Â
The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall and host South Dakota State, the small field includes five other schools, CSU-Bakersfield, North Dakota State, Northern Michigan, South Dakota and Western Michigan.
Â
The Lineup:
Seton Hall will start the following golfers in Las Vegas, in order as listed:
Individual:Â Gianna Tomeo, Sophomore
Â
Last Time Out:
Two weeks ago, the Hall opened the spring season with a 16th place tie at the Rio Verde Invitational in Arizona. Freshman Maddie Sager (Phoenixville, Pa.) finished the tournament as the top Pirate competitor, tying for 33rd place overall with a 12-over-par, 74-77-77-228.Â
Â

The field will play 36 continuous holes on Friday, followed by one final round on Saturday. The event will begin with a shotgun start on Friday at 10:30 a.m. ET. The shotgun start on Saturday will begin 30 minutes later at 11:00 a.m. ET.
