South Orange, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team continues its non-conference schedule with a 7 p.m. match at Owen T. Carroll Field Thursday night against Marist (2-3), before heading to Duquesne (2-2) on Sunday afternoon for a 1 p.m. fixture.

For the Pirates (0-3-1), Thursday is their first official home match of the season. The originally scheduled opener against Siena on Aug. 18 was declared a no-contest early in the second half due to severe lightning strikes in the area.

On Monday, Seton Hall out-shot Monmouth, 11-6, but could not put one home and ultimately suffered a 1-0 setback on Labor Day in West Long Branch. Freshman Cassy Harrigan (Beaverton, Ore.) and junior Julia Stirpe (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) each finished with two shots including a pair of quality chances by Harrigan in the opening half.
