The Pirates (2-7-4, 0-4-0 BIG EAST) were unable to overcome a scorching hot start from the Wildcats (9-4-0, 3-1-0 BIG EAST), who scored in the 18th, 20th and 22nd minute during the first half to take an insurmountable 3-0 lead at the break.
