
The Hall Falls At St. John's On Friday Night

QUEENS, N.Y. – The Seton Hall women's basketball team (15-12, 7-9 BIG EAST) suffered a 75-56-setback at St. John's (16-11, 9-7 BIG EAST) on Friday night at Carnesecca Arena.
The Red Storm built their lead early, going up 20-12 after a quarter before pushing their advantage out to 40-23 heading to the half. St. John's shot nearly 60 percent in the opening half and went 6-of-8 from 3-point range to build the lead they would not relent.
Nicole Jimenez (Miami, Fla.) led The Hall with 17 points, while freshman Kimi Evans (Jackson, N.J.) added a career-high 14 points. For St. John's, Alisha Kebbe led four players in double-figures with 20 points.

The Pirates are back at Walsh Gym next weekend when they welcome the top two teams in the BIG EAST standings to South Orange. First up is Marquette on Feb. 23 for The Hall's Play4Kay Pink Game, before DePaul visits on Feb. 25 for Senior Day.
