
Pirates Fall To Marquette In #Play4Kay Game

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's basketball team dropped an 81-54 decision to league-leading Marquette on Friday night inside historic Walsh Gym. The Hall finished with three players in double-figures, led by 13 points from senior JaQuan Jackson (Killeen, Texas) In her penultimate home game.
Marquette jumped out to a 13-point lead after a quarter and kept that advantage through the half, then used a 21-10 fourth quarter to put the contest out of reach. Allazia Blockton led MU with 21 points while Erika Davenport finished with 11 and 17 rebounds.
Friday night at Walsh was The Hall's Kay Yow Cancer Fund #Play4Kay Pink Game presented by RWJ Barnabas. As part of the festivities, the Pirates presented Seton Hall president Dr. Mary Meehan, a breast cancer survivor, with a commemorative pink jersey.

The Hall will close the regular season on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. against co-league-leading DePaul. Prior to the contest The Hall will honor its lone senior, top scorer JaQuan Jackson.

- Kaela Hilaire (Queens, N.Y.) finished with seven assists, one shy of her season-high
