SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Head Coach Clay White announced the 2018 Seton Hall men's golf fall schedule on Tuesday. The Pirates will participate in five events this fall.
The Hall will open the fall season for the second straight year with the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, hosted by Colgate University at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y., Sept. 8-9. The three-round event is named in memory of the son of Seton Hall assistant coach Ian Lagowitz. Alex played collegiate golf at Colgate.
Two weeks later, the Pirates will head to Bull's Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, Conn. for the Hartford Hawks Invitational for a seventh straight year. The Pirates will play three rounds of golf over two days, Sept. 17-18. Historically, this has been a successful event for the Pirates and last year was certain no exception. Nagai led the way with a 4-under-par, 71-69-72-212 to tie for sixth place overall, while Yeom was 2-under-par with a 72-72-70-214.
Before the calendar turns to October, the Pirates will play in a new event, hosted by a familiar foe, the Villanova Invitational. The tournament will be played over three days, Sept. 28-30, at White Manor Country Club in Malvern, Pa.
For the third straight year, the Pirates will head to the Mountaineer Intercollegiate in Bridgeport, W.Va., Oct. 8-9.
