Rachwal had 12 kills, three digs and two blocks, while Gasser tallied her second career double-double with 11 kills and 12 digs. Freshman Reece Koehler (Stillwater, Minn.) had nine kills and no attack errors in a strong offensive match. Senior Maggie Cvelbar (Euclid, Ohio) finished with a team-high 31 assists to go with seven digs and three kills.
Â
SCOUTING DE PAUL
On Sept. 28, Rachwal recorded a career-high 14 kills, but the Pirates fell in four sets at DePaul, 3-1 (25-16, 22-25, 22-25, 22-25).
Â

Â
DePaul enters the weekend with a 10-10 overall record and the same BIG EAST record as the Pirates, 2-6. The Blue Demons have lost four of their last five matches, including the last two. On Saturday, they fell in four sets at Villanova. DePaul's two BIG EAST victories this season have come in four sets over Seton Hall and Providence, both at home.
Â
SCOUTING MARQUETTE
On Sept. 27, freshman Julia Wilkins (Mason, Ohio) had a team-high seven kills, and Cvelbar finished one dig shy of a double-double, but The Hall fell in straight sets to Marquette, 3-0 (19-25, 17-25, 13-25), in its BIG EAST Conference opener. Wilkins had seven kills to go with two digs, while Cvelbar had a team-best 23 assists and nine digs.
