SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team returns to Owen T. Carroll Field on Thursday, Oct. 10, for a 6 p.m. BIG EAST tilt against Villanova.

Thursday's match will be streamed live on the Pirate Sports Network.

PROMOTION
The women's soccer team will wear gold laces on their sneakers to help raise pediatric cancer awareness as part of Go4TheGoal.

SCOUTING VILLANOVA
The Wildcats are 5-4-3 overall and 1-1-1 in the BIG EAST entering Wednesday's match. As a team, Villanova ranks fourth in the BIG EAST with 58 saves and is tied for second with five shutouts.

QUICK KICKS

Head coach Ciara Crinion enters his first season at Seton Hall after a successful seven-year run as an assistant and associate head coach at Hartford. In those seven seasons, the Hawks accumulated a 77-36-20 record (.654), won four America East regular season championships.
Junior Laura Hooper ranks 10th in the BIG EAST and leads the team with 2.60 shots per game.
Freshman Harpa Johannsdottir ranks in a tie for fourth in the conference with 4.20 saves per contest.

Following its match against the Wildcats on Thursday, the Pirates will welcome Marquette to Owen T. Carroll Field on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Pirate Sports Network.
