
Yocco Leads Pirates to Victory at ECAC

Bronx, N.Y. – The Seton Hall women's cross country team earned a first place finish in the ECAC Coaches' Race on Saturday. Senior Kassi Yocco (Bethlehem, Pa.) earned an individual first place finish to help lead the Pirates to victory.
Yocco finished with a time of 19:29 to earn her first individual win of the year. The finish is also Yocco's fifth time pacing the Pirates this season and the senior's eighth time in as many meets finishing as one of the top two Pirates.
Following Yocco with a second place finish was freshman Arianna Braccio (Nashua, N.H.) with a time of 19:40. This was Braccio's sixth time finishing within the top two Pirates and second time finishing in the top two overall.
Rounding out the top five was sophomore Cristina Fernandez (Parsippany, N.J.) and freshman Nancy Habib (Clifton, N.J.) with fourth and fifth place finishes, respectively. Fernandez crossed the finish with a time of 20:07 while Habib crossed in a time of 20:14.
Overall, the Pirates placed seven runners in the top ten with two runners earning their first top-10 finish of the season and three runners earning their best finish on the season.
The Pirates' third team victory concludes the 2019 season.
