South Orange, N.J. - The Seton Hall Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is embarking on a challenge to help end sexual violence. In conjunction with the #Xout11 movement, student-athletes will post videos of themselves performing an 11-second exercise on Tuesday, April 2 at noon to signify the 11 percent of all college students who experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence or incapacitation.Â
The statistic is courtesy of the AAU Campus Climate survey in 2015.
These 11-second exercise videos will include a challenge to other student-athletes and schools on social media in the hopes of spreading the awareness. The goal is to end sexual violence.
