Johannsdottir racks up six saves in the loss
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Junior Atley Fortney (Charles Town, W.Va.) had three shots with one on goal and freshman Harpa Johannsdottir (Akureyri, Iceland) had six saves in goal in the Seton Hall women's soccer team's 3-0 loss to Butler on Sunday afternoon at the newly renovated Owen T. Carroll Field.
After an early Butler goal, the Hall's backline settled in and fended off a strong Bulldogs attack for the remainder of the first half. Fortney and freshman Jai Smith (Hayward, Calif.) both had good looks after the Bulldogs' initial goal later in the first half but they couldn't find the back of the net.
Another early score by Butler started the second half and a header off the corner kick in the 88th minute put the match out of reach.

Seton Hall will return to action on Thursday when it goes across the rivers to Queens, N.Y. for a contest at St. John's. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
