THE GAME
Seton Hall will host Albany on Sunday, December 13 in Walsh Gymnasium. Tip time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Per COVID-19 protocols, no fans will be permitted to be in attendance.

MEDIA
The game will be a Pirate Sports Network broadcast with John Fanta and Phil Stern on the call. As usual, the game will also be available over the airwaves at 89.5 FM WSOU and at wsou.net. Liam Plate and Wilnir Louis will describe the action on the radio. We'll also have the obligatory live stats available as well.

LAST GAME
Sophomore Mya Jackson (Wilmington, Ohio) erupted for a career-high 27 points as the Pirates throttled Wagner, 96-53, in Walsh Gymnasium on Friday.

Jackson was brilliant scoring 27 points on an efficient 11-for-16 shooting, including 4-for-7 from three-point range. Three other Pirates reached double-figures in scoring with Mya Bembry (West Orange, N.J.) adding a career-high 14 points, Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) scoring 13 points and freshman Amari Wright (Jacksonville, Fla.) chipping in a career-best 12 points.

The Pirates shot 59.0% from the floor for the game, and used a huge second quarter to pull away from the Seahawks.

SCOUTING ALBANY
Albany is coming off a 9-21 record last year, which included losses in eight of their final nine contests. Alexi Schecter was their leading scorer with 12.5 points per game, but she graduated.

This season, Albany is expected to take a step forward, being picked to finish fourth in the 10-team America East Conference. Ellen Hahne, a transfer from Wake Forest has boosted the offense. The Great Danes also added Grace Heeps a transfer from UMass and Fatima Lee from Providence.

Similarly to the Pirates, COVID-19 has caused the Great Danes to get a late start to their season. Sunday's contest will be only the second of the year for Albany. In their opener, they lost at Hofstra, 63-45, on Friday. Hahne led the team with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
