Omaha, Neb. - Two teams on opposite coasts need a competitive game to play. What's the solution?

Meet in the middle in Omaha, of course.

Seton Hall and Oregon played a heck of a Battle 4 Atlantis quarterfinal last season, and the two teams, whose schedules have been upended by changes and cancelations, have decided to match up once more by asking a friend for some assistance. The Creighton Bluejays, a friendly BIG EAST foe of the Pirates and the former home of current Ducks head coach Dana Altman, are kind enough to host the two teams in a neutral site game at Chi Health Center Omaha Friday night.

Last season's game was a showcase for two players who ended up as consensus first-team All-Americans in Myles Powell and Payton Pritchard. Now both men are on NBA rosters, but both squads are still rich with talent that will make Friday night's affair a fun one. The Pirates are led by current BIG EAST scoring leader Sandro Mamukelashvili, who is pouring in 21.7 points per game, and the Ducks are seeing dividends from Rutgers transfer Eugene Omoruyi, who had 31 points against Missouri, and gain the services of St. John's transfer LJ Figueroa.

A win would be a feather in either team's cap that could be a launching point for the rest of the season.
