
Pirates Open Spring Season at FAU Winter Warm-Up

BOCA RATON, FLA. – The Seton Hall women's golf team will begin the 2020 spring season with two rounds at the 2020 FAU Winter Warm-up at Osprey Point Golf Course, Feb. 10-11.

The Course:
Having received numerous awards since its opening in 2010, Osprey Point Golf Course is one of the top public golf courses in Florida. Featuring 27 holes spread out in three nine-hole courses, Osprey Point provides a serene setting with a Platinum Paspalum turf, which presents a lush playing surface from tee to green.

The Field:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Florida Atlantic, the field is comprised of 12 other teams including: Arkansas State, Charleston Southern, Columbia, Dartmouth, Eastern Kentucky, McNeese State, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Western Carolina and Yale. BIG EAST foes Butler and Xavier are also a part of a talented field.

Last Time Out:
Seton Hall is coming off a strong fall season, which featured a top-4 finish or better in all four tournaments. The Pirates won the Princeton Invitational at the end of September and took second at the competitive Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitation in October. The season also feature marquee individual performance, highlighted by co-champions of the Nittany Lion Invitational, Maddie Sager and Sarah Fouratt.Â

Mia Kness shot a program-record 7-under-par, 65, in the opening round of the Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitational. She followed that up with a record-tying 2-under-par, 214, to finish fourth at the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship to round out the fall.

The Hall peaked at a No. 54 Golfstat ranking, its highest in program history. The Pirates enter the spring season ranked No. 72.
