Colorado Springs, Colo. - The Seton Hall men's and women's swimming & diving teams have earned the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team Award for the 40th consecutive semester, a string of academic success that dates back to Fall 2000, the CSCAA announced this week. The award, which is issued after the fall and spring semesters of each academic year, requires a swimming team to have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
The women produced a 3.695 GPA and the men delivered a 3.577 GPA in the spring 2020 semester, a strong performance especially considering student-athletes' lives were upended and moved to remote learning for the final nine weeks of the semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
