Men's Golf Reveals 2021 Slate

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Head coach Clay White announced the 2021 Seton Hall men's golf schedule on Thursday. The Pirates will participate in at least eight events this spring.

Without the benefit of a fall season, the Pirates will play a large slate during the spring of 2021. The Hall will play a BIG EAST Match Play event hosted by the University of Connecticut to begin the season on February 1-2. The event will feature several conference schools and will be held at Pelican Golf Club in Clearwater, Fla.

At the end of the month, The Hall will open tournament play with the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate, February 22-23. A new event for the Pirates, the two-day tournament will be held on the Palmetto Hall Arthur Course in Hilton Head, S.C. and hosted by Francis Marion University.

In March, the Pirates will head to Pinehurst, N.C. for the Ross Collegiate Classic, March 8-9. Hosted by George Mason University, the event will be held at Mid Pines Golf Club. On March 22-23, Seton Hall will take on The Big Texan at Comanche Trace in Kerrville, Texas. The tournament will be hosted by the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley. To round out the month, Seton Hall will play three rounds of golf at the Craft Farms Intercollegiate in Gulf Shores, Ala., March 28-30. Jointly hosted by the University of South Alabama and Eastern Michigan University, the event will be held at Cotton Creek at Craft Farms.

As the calendar month turns to April, the Pirates will play in either the Princeton Invitational or the HealthPlan Mountaineer Invitational in early April, before returning to the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State, April 17-18.

Seton Hall will again return to Callawassie Island for the calendar's marquee event, the BIG EAST Championship, April 30 through May 2. This will be the seventh year that the conference championship has been held at Callawassie. In 2016, Lloyd Jefferson Go set the course record with a 7-under-par, 65, in the second round. He went on to win the BIG EAST individual title.
